Application for the 2025/2026 Geoscience IDEA Scholarship is open to U.S. students who wish to continue their undergraduate degree program in the United States. 2025/2026 Geoscience IDEA Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Geoscience IDEA Scholarship:

  • The scholarship application is open to U.S. students who are studying in the United States.
  • Applicants who are applying for the undergraduate level student in the next academic year are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • Applicants from any of these race can apply for the scholarship such as Latin/Hispanic, Alaska Native/American India, African-American/Black, or Pacific Islander/Asian/Asian-American.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or accepted into any accredited college or university within the country.
  • Applicants must be studying one of these major such as Geoscience or Earth Science.
  • Applicants who are studying STEM programs outside the Earth Sciences are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
