2025/2026 GKS Korean Government Scholarship Qualification
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 GKS Korean Government Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to international students from all over the world.
- Applicants should go through the required documents to check their eligibility criteria of applying for the scholarship.
- Applicants with Korean citizenship will not be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Before the start of the scholarship program, applicants must have completed their Bachelor’s degree or expect to complete.
2025/2026 GKS Korean Government Scholarship Application process
In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 GKS Korean Government Scholarship, applicants must follow these steps:
- Applicants must visit the Korean embassy website or Study in Korea to download the application form.
- Applicants must provide the required documents such as personal statement, recommendation letters, transcripts, and certificate degrees that are needed for the scholarship.
- Applicants must complete the downloaded application form and submit all the necessary documents to the Korean Embassy.
- The Korean embassy will review, screen and interview qualified applicants.
- The Korean embassy will recommend qualified applicants to the National Institute for International Education (NIIED).
- The NIIED will review the qualified applicants and forward their application to the 3 universities they selected.
- If selected by at least one of the university, NIIED will finalize the selection.
