2025/2026 GKS Korean Government Scholarship Qualification

2025/2026 GKS Korean Government Scholarship Application process

In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 GKS Korean Government Scholarship, applicants must follow these steps:

  • Applicants must visit the Korean embassy website or Study in Korea to download the application form.
  • Applicants must provide the required documents such as personal statement, recommendation letters, transcripts, and certificate degrees that are needed for the scholarship.
  • Applicants must complete the downloaded application form and submit all the necessary documents to the Korean Embassy.
  • The Korean embassy will review, screen and interview qualified applicants.
  • The Korean embassy will recommend qualified applicants to the National Institute for International Education (NIIED).
  • The NIIED will review the qualified applicants and forward their application to the 3 universities they selected.
  • If selected by at least one of the university, NIIED will finalize the selection.
