Application for the 2025/2026 SNU President Fellowship Program (SPF) is open to international students all over the world who want to study their PhD degree program in the South Korea. The scholarship is sponsored by the Seoul National University to provide financial assistance to applicants who seek help to further their education at the university. 2025/2026 SNU President Fellowship Program (SPF) Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP/GKS):
- The scholarship application is open to international students all over the world who want to study the PhD degree program in South Korea.
- Applicant must have excellent academic performance, good grades, and research proposal.
- Applicants without PhD degree in a developing country of a major University as a faculty member are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants from developing countries such as South America, Asia, Africa etc are given major priority as new Ph.D students.
Scholarship Benefits
- Maximum of 6 semesters are exempted from the full tuition fee.
- 1,500,000 KRW- 2,000,00 KRW montly allowance for living expenses and others costs for 3-4 years.
- Flight ticket of one trip.
- One year Korean Language Training.
- Health Insurance.
2025/2026 SNU President Fellowship Program (SPF) Application process
In order to be eligible for 2025/2026 Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP/GKS), applicants must follow these steps:
- Applicants can apply for the scholarship through the online application or at the SNU’s Office of Admission and must tick the scholarship application box.
- Applicants must provide all the required documents and information that are needed for the scholarship before the deadline date.
- It is essential for applicants to ensure they submit their application to the SNU OIA.
